The Dalston waste paper bin and square tissue box cover is a limited edition set as I have crafted this from an orphaned roll end. Decoupaged in the striking Honeysuckle paper by Morris & Co in the Cream/Chocolate colour way, this Honeysuckle pattern stands as an exquisite manifestation of intertwining foliage, delicate blossoms, and gracefully meandering vines, meticulously capturing nature's grace with remarkable realism. It is the perfect pattern for a fresh maximalist look for any pattern lover.

Honeysuckle was commonly credited to her father, but the intricate Honeysuckle pattern actually emerged from the creative mind of May Morris, conceived for the esteemed Morris and Co. likely during the years spanning from 1883 to 1885. Its debut graced the pages of Woman's World magazine within a compelling feature spotlighting May's artistic prowess.

This set includes a square wooden tissue box cover which measures W 125 x D 125 x H 135 and a wooden medium waste paper bin that measures W 220 x D 170 x H 295 both have been hand crafted and finished in the art of decoupage. Several layers of UV and water resistant varnish have been applied to insure the papers are sealed and your pieces will stand the test of time for generations to come. Care instructions: please wipe or dust with a soft fabric dust cloth and furniture polish.

The Dalston is painted in Little Greene's Yellow Pink. This shade was previously linked to a yellow hue extracted from the Woad plant, showcasing a luxurious earthy tone popularly utilised in wallpaper dyeing. This distinct Yellow-Pink shade, akin to a robust mustard, finds its essence in the ochre pigment, a time-honored decorative medium with roots tracing back to ancient civilisations.
