The Ascot range has been decoupaged in the iconic timeless elegant paper Seasons by May by Morris & Co in Saffron Yellow colour way.

Each piece has been hand crafted and finished in the art of decoupage. Several layers of UV and water resistant varnish have been applied to insure the papers are sealed and your pieces will stand the test of time for generations to come. Care instructions: please wipe or dust with a soft fabric dust cloth and furniture polish. 

Seasons by May is an exquisitely crafted pattern of a circa 1895 embroidery titled "Spring and Summer," is believed to have been conceived and skillfully executed by May Morris, the illustrious daughter of William Morris. Adorned with a motif that intricately weaves a mirrored trellis inhabited by parakeets, alongside stylised depictions of roses, tulips, leaves, and twisting stems.

May Morris is acknowledged as a revered embroiderer and a significant figure in the enduring heritage of the Arts and Crafts movement. Her creations stand as exemplars of late nineteenth-century embroidery. Among her myriad achievements, she notably played a pivotal role in the establishment of the Women's Guild of Arts in 1907.
