Camden - Decoupage with the exquisite Artichoke pattern by Morris & Co for Sanderson, featuring the timeless elegance of John Henry Dearle's renowned design. Originating from Dearle's vibrant original creation,as a vibrant, multicoloured wallpaper, has been reintroduced in a striking monotone rendition, exuding timeless sophistication and allure. I have selected the wine colour way as the colour way is opulent and rich.

Painted in the exquisite hue of Little Greene's Lute, it's undertones imbue a captivating warmth, evoking a sense of natural earthiness that harmonises beautifully with the colours in the artichoke paper.

This wooden medium waste paper bin that measures W 220 x D 170 x H 295 has been hand crafted and finished in the art of decoupage. Several layers of UV and water resistant varnish have been applied to insure the papers are sealed and your pieces will stand the test of time for generations to come. Care instructions: please wipe or dust with a soft fabric dust cloth and furniture polish.

A Beatrice Bloom London home accent goes beyond mere functionality, elevating itself to a versatile centrepiece that effortlessly blends into sophisticated interiors, seamlessly marrying practicality with aesthetic charm.

In 1890, amidst William Morris's increasing involvement in political reform, Dearle ascended to the position of head designer at Morris & Co. Following Morris's passing in 1896, Dearle assumed the role of Art Director, showcasing his adept management of textiles, wallpapers, stained glass, and furniture. Throughout his illustrious 54-year career, Dearle crafted approximately 30 wallpaper and 40 textile designs. While often overshadowed by Morris's legacy, Dearle's authorship is gradually gaining recognition, cherished by a devoted following for his significant contributions to Morris & Co.

Born in Camden Town, Dearle led a profoundly creative life spanning the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. His enduring influence on Arts & Crafts culture resonates through time, with his patterns continually reimagined to suit modern sensibilities.
